Pablo grew up in El Bolsón (Patagonia). His short First Snow won the Best Short Film Jury Prize at Cannes in 2006. His first feature film, Salamander, was presented at the Directors' Fortnight at Cannes in 2008. He then directed 77 Doronship, an experimental medium-length film, presented in the Official Selection at the San Sebastian International Film Festival in 2009, and then awarded in several international film festivals. The script for Eva doesn’t sleep garnered the Sopadin Grand Prize for Best Screenplay in 2012.
