Born in Paris (France) in 1961, he started drama classes at 16. After studying literature, he directed several drama plays. As a cinema student, he directed the short Gilles Deleuze: What is the Creative Act? He directed a dozen of shorts and two documentaries for TV, before his first feature in 1996. Parc and his short Diane Wellington were selected at Venice respectively in 2008 and 2010. American Dust opened the FID in Marseille, and Age of Uprising: The Legend of Michael Kohlhaas was selected in the 2013 Cannes Competition.
